Hi it’s me. I dove in here today to delete all the spam comments that have been piling up and thought I’d try and write a post. I say “try” because we’re still having the boring problem of interconnecting to the webs, despite the fact we’ve switched our ISP. We’re thinking it might have to do with our location and are no longer taking it personally. Hopefully I can stay connected long enough to get this up.
Not much is new, I’m happy to report. I took some photos of myself and this one came out the least blurry. I got a new movie software program (thank you, JoAnn!) that I’m anxious to try out but don’t have time. Buck and I are well, and thankful to have jobs. Our magazine has made a lot of changes, one of them being a new interactive website that we’re working on. Pretty much takes up all our time. I’ll have a new motorcycle-related (I guess) blog, so my dream of getting paid to blog will come true. There might be slightly more posts of me and Buck discussing TV shows than motorcycles, but I’ll keep you posted.
In entertainment news, we’re devastated that ABC canceled Life On Mars. I’ve recorded every episode and after the series finale on Wednesday I’ll sit down and watch them all again and have myself a good cry.
I turned 49 this month. Buck, always the romantic, brought home this wonderful Happy Birthday Gorgeous! cake that took two weeks to eat:
And roses:
My sister JoAnn was here for my birthday. She flew out from Pennsylvania for a couple weeks. In this photo I got her up on the roof with the promise of a serious portrait at sunset, then I made her laugh:
And here’s a photo of sitting in the parking lot at the convenience store waiting for JoAnn to finish buying candy and soda.
And that’s about it. I’m going to attempt to go around and read some blogs today so don’t be surprised if you see me.
Take care, everyone, and we’ll see you on the flipside.
